To address this common issue, most municipal building codes require a high drain loop to be in place.
The High Drain Loop Bracket seen here is a simple, fast solution to prevent water from backing up into a dishwasher. This handy accessory holds the drain hose in an inverted U to prevent water backflow.
We offer (2) variations of the bracket (created for 1/2 Inch and 5/8 Inch hose diameters) and they have proven to be effective with most dishwasher models.
Measurement is based on the inside diameter of the dishwasher hose.

After spending a lot of money on several plumbers and telling them that I needed a “high loop” created for the drain hose I finally bought this product. My hose was bigger than average and this still worked. I couldn’t quite use both sides of the device, but even with it running through 1/2 it’s still prevents the backflow that I was having. Great product, save yourself the money from the plumber and get this!

Used for dishwasher drain hose in a cabinet with deep sink and could not easily install aregular discharge tube bracket. This was very easy to slip into location, easy to attach, and easy to attach hose to bracket!
