Mr. Chain Supports the 48th Annual Governor’s Breakfast in Cadillac, Michigan

Mr. Chain was honored to support the 48th Annual Governor’s Breakfast, hosted once again by the Cadillac Area Chamber of Commerce in Cadillac, Michigan.

A longstanding Northern Michigan tradition, the Governor’s Breakfast brings together business leaders, educators, students, elected officials, and community members for a morning focused on collaboration, leadership, and community connection. This year’s event welcomed hundreds of students from across the region to hear from Governor Gretchen Whitmer and local leaders while gaining a closer look at how business and government shape our communities.

Assisting with Event Organization and Crowd Flow

For this year’s event, Mr. Chain donated Industrial Stanchions and Plastic Chain to help support event organization and crowd flow throughout the venue.

From guiding foot traffic to defining pathways and organizing spaces, our products helped keep the event running smoothly for attendees, students, organizers, and guests.

Large community events rely on thoughtful planning and dependable equipment to create safe, organized environments, and we were happy to contribute to another successful Governor’s Breakfast.

Creating Meaningful Experiences for Students

One of the most impactful aspects of the Governor’s Breakfast is its continued focus on education and workforce connection.

Each year, the event gives students the opportunity to hear directly from state and local leaders while experiencing the connection between business, government, and community development firsthand. Bringing students into these conversations helps create meaningful experiences and encourages future leadership throughout Northern Michigan.

Celebrating Community Leadership

This year’s event was especially meaningful for the Mr. Chain family as our President, Ryan Schultz, and his wife, Niki Schultz, were recognized as recipients of the 2025 Outstanding Citizen Award from the Cadillac Area Chamber of Commerce.

As part of that recognition, Ryan and Niki had the honor of escorting Governor Whitmer into the event.

We’re grateful to see their continued commitment to the Cadillac community acknowledged and celebrated.
